I wondered what a Kraftwerk song would sound like on the piano. This is "The Model" played by me on Addicitive Keys, using my Roland Alpha Juno 2  as a controller. This song was written  by Ralf Hütter and Karl Bartos, with artist Emil Schult collaborating on the lyrics (which there aren't any of in this performance).

This is just a free form little jam using only a Korg Monotron Delay and a beat from the Korg EMX1, all run through a Kaoss Pad Quad. I played the Monotron, my son played the Kaoss Pad. I think it's cool and ridiculous at the same time. If you have good speakers you can see how big and fat that little Monotron is. If you hate it, fine. Otherwise, have fun with our insanity.

A really kind of out of tune little jam with  the semi-functional octave cat I purchased for $100 the other day. I little rhythm from a Teenage Engineering PO12. The oscillators don't track the keyboard very well so it sounds weird. But It sound bloody cool too.

Live jam. No DAW. Using the Ensoniq EPS 16+ sequencer to sequence the DSI Mopho SE, Roland JU-06 and JX-03, as well as playing them live. The Beatstep Pro is running a drum track to the Simmons SDS8 and the MKS-7 for the TR707 kit in there. Kong Minilogue lead is played live (with all the screw ups LOL).

Using the Arturia Fairlight and I love it. Inspires me to do stuff I wouldn't normally do. This is all done with Arturia's Analog Lab 3 with some additional percussion from Maschine.

Walk The Light

Had my Behringer Model D for a day and was able to spend a couple hours with it tonight. Just a fun synth and it sounds great. Here's a little noodle with just a bassline, a kick and a lead line. All played from the Behringer Deepmind 12 with some arpeggiator going on too.

The first three pieces in an autobiographical soundtrack I'm working on.
1. Time - no beginning, no end, we exist
2. Five - a life where the most important decisions were whether to have macaroni or hot dogs for lunch. Floating "boats" in the gutter on a rainy day. Goldfish pond. Freshly cut grass. Grandpa.
3. Seven - the innocence is destroyed and life takes a change that will be with me for the next four decades. Things no seven-year-old should ever experience. Still, there is always the peace and love of grandpa interwoven with the guilt, shame, and lies.

Modality - Modal Skulpt and 002R

I've always wanted a Mellotron, well, at least a Mellotron emulator because who wants to mess with all those mechanics and tapes. Just testing out the Arturia Mellotron V doing flutes and strings with my Ensoniq VFX providing a synth pad.

All the synths you hear in this piece are a Casio VL1 Casiotone. Yeah, that is a Casiotone. The same one that Trio used to make Da Da Da.  I ran it through the Korg EMX 1 so essentially the Casio provided the raw waveforms, which were all custom programmed by me on the Casio using the ADSR mode. But the filters and effects are all from either the EMX or from Ableton. This was a fun little experiment to see what the Casio could do, and what the EMX could do.
