This is my first track using a real analog synth, the Dreadbox Typhon, which is a tiny box but with a huge sound. :) The synth is monophonic but I layered it multiple times in subsequent recordings. The sequences are created with Arturia Beatstep. The drums are virtual instruments from Bitwig Studio which I also used for the arrangement and mastering.

This is my vocal interpretation of a wonderful composition by <a href="http://soundcloud.com/myristica" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">myristica ♫</a> called "The Simple Things".
I wouldn't say that this ambient track needs vocals, but I think I found enough space to add some lyrics to it. My intention is to encourage us all to slow down a bit in our daily life and concentrate on "simple things", whatever these simple things mean for you especially.

Rainbow Warrior (with Lee Lucas)

I started this track with some simple piano lines and thought about what I can make of it... After adding some percussion, drum and pad stuff I still had the feeling that the track needs something more to become great, and so I asked my friend http://soundcloud.com/tolubai if he would like to start a collaboration for it and sent him a first preview. Soon he came back with some nice ideas for additions and the track started to develop.

Meanwhile we heard about the great news of the latest discoveries by the CERN with their LHC experiments (Large Hadron Collider - the world's largest  particle accelerator in the near of Geneva). It seemed as an important sub-particle, responsible for all masses in the universe, was found which was predicted by the British physicist Peter Higgs. Fascinated by the news we decided to dedicate our track to the finding of the long-searched "Higgs-Boson" and got some new ideas for the track. Now of course it should have some kind of  "Bang" and we also wanted to symbolise the particles. So we created a big soundscape for this. And at the end Peter Higgs personally can be heard with a part of an interview (the complete interview can be found here: http://cdsweb.cern.ch/record/1459437)

September Clouds

I'm very glad that I could work together with my good friend http://soundcloud.com/tolubai on this electronic track.
Tom presented to me a great preview of the track that already had wonderful analog lead and pad sounds on it and asked me if I could add something. I instantly loved what he had already done in this classical electronic style and decided to add only some unobtrusive layers to make it even more pleasant to listen. And then Tom made a fantastic final mix of it. :)
It was a pure pleasure to contribute to this and I hope you enjoy the final track as much as I do. :D

I'm a self-taught hobby musician and started to create music in 2008. I mostly use electronic sounds, sometimes combined with samples from field-recordings. 

I like to associate my music with the beauty of nature and our wonderful blue planet from where I take most of my inspiration.
