This track is the third of the Stolen Songs, tracks of ours that were on a laptop taken in the latest in a string of burglaries we’ve been hit with.Not to be discouraged, we found some rough versions of these songs floating around in the cloud, and were able to finish them up.This track should be a great addition to the excellent mixes of this track already out there, and we try to bring our own thing to it!Hopefully just in time for some summer rooftop parties...

Empire of the Sun - Walking On A Dream (EarthMoonEarth Remix)

We recently finished remixing this track by super-awesome up-and-coming artist Theo Martins (check him out at: http://imjusttheo.com).  It would have been fun to do under any circumstances, but in this case Theo was hosting a remix competition for the track, and as it turned out, we had the honor of being selected as the winner!

When asked to describe our remix Theo said, “I really appreciate Earth Moon Earth’s versatility in taking a laid back song like 'Up &amp; Away' and reconstructing it into a modern funkadelic jam of sorts. Very smooth, very funky.”  That is exactly what we hope any listener of this jam would say, so it is very exciting to hear it from the man himself, and to be selected from among so many great entries.  Enjoy!

Toxic (EarthMoonEarth Remix)

Fences is probably the most intriguing track from Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix-simultaneously mellow & catchy, wildy original, and featuring what may be the best three notes ever played on a CS80 (sorry, Vangelis!). Expect no such restraint from us! This remix takes a much more upbeat approach, evolving from subtlety to an all-out dance party by the chorus. Touches of 80s-synth nostalgia weave between a pulsing, syncopated bass and swirling arps. A new micro-edited chorus countermelody has been fashioned out of Thomas Mar’s vocal, which sprawls into the bridge, and builds to the drop! We’ve got a suspicion this remix’s vibe will be as appropriate while wearing a suit/dress as a Tears For Fears t-shirt, so get it in that NYE playlist!
