Next up on the label is label boss RILEY with his second release this year. this time bringing a two track EP titled 'Not Tonight'

The talented young artist from Liverpool, UK, has previously released tracks on labels such as Elrow, Issues, Short Circuit, THUNDR, and Till? Records, since arriving on the scene at the end of 2019 with his debut release 'Chapter 8' on Overdose Records. His last release on Elbow Limited 'Fundamentally Funky EP' was very well received with support coming from Waff, Archie Hamilton, Rendher, and De La Swing and many others. 

On the A side is the lead track 'Not Tonight which is a high-energy, deep roller with multiple synth use, warm baselines and clever sample use. then on the flip side we have 'On Bas Terms' a hard hitter ready for the club dance-floors.

Kicking things off for ABODE Records in the New Year is Birmingham-based DJ and producer, Guy Burns, who makes his debut on the label with brand new single, ‘Feel The Groove’.

A relative newcomer to the scene, Guy sources inspiration from genres ranging from Garage to Classical and House to Soul and Funk, which is clearly present in the versatility showcased across his productions and DJ sets. With releases already on some of the biggest labels in the scene including Simma Black, Armada Subjekt, Rawsome, Groove Soul Records and collaborations with Low Steppa, Guy looks set to make 2023 his biggest year to date.

Bastian Bux strides into 2024 with an impressive three-tracker on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax. 

Bastian Bux was hugely busy in 2023 with standout cuts on his own Neverendz label, having already impressed on Eats Everything's Edible, elrow Music and Cuartero's Sanity. He hails from Barcelona and has shown himself to be endlessly creative in the studio - each new tune shows an evolution in his sound, whether vocal, deep, tech or beyond. Now, almost a decade into his career, he has played everywhere from Tomorrowland to Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas, and he now opens the year with a superb three-track EP on Hottrax. 

The punchy 'Dunns' kicks off with tight, clipped tech house drums and chopped-up vocal stabs that eventually turn into streetwise bars drenched in attitude. 'Dat Beat' is just as fresh and sure to get crowds in a swat with its hardcore house grooves and twisted synths spraying about the mix. Throw in more well-treated vocal fragments and a fat bassline, and you have real club dynamite. Completing this essential hat trick is 'Howyalldoin', a more playful cut with a sun-kissed vibe thanks to its soulful male vocals and funky bass riffs.
