UK DJ/producer Latmun will add another string to his bow this February as he launches his first label project, Lateral, marking and celebrating his eighth year as an artist. A firm fixture of the global circuit with appearances at venues including DC10, Amnesia, Printworks, Club Space, Hï and Warehouse Project, his sets for the likes of Music On, Paradise and ANTS have seen his profile surge since breaking through. And yet, his stock only looks set to rise further across 2023.

Having released music via a long list of renowned labels across his career, including Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, Relief, Sola, Repopulate Mars, Mindshake and elrow music, the launch unveils a project which has been a long-time in the works - kicking things off in style with his new single, 'Just Play', with further material scheduled throughout the year ahead...

'The first release on Lateral has been a long time coming, but finding the right track has been challenging as I wanted it to reflect correctly what the label is about. 'Just Play' is meant to be exactly that, a combination of different styles resulting in something unique, which hopefully makes you want to 'just play it'. - Latmun.

Opening via a snaking bassline and crisp drum shots before building into a driving anthem armed with skittering, warped vocal samples, 'Just Play' is an impactful and mischievous cut shaped for the peak time, revealing an impressive first glimpse into the future direction of the label.

Passionate about music for 26 years, the best moments of his life are lived in tune with the different musical styles he embraces. When asked who Gabriel is, or his artistic alter ego, @Classsicko, he likes to define himself this way, or at least, that's how he wants to be seen.

He didn't choose to be an artist, and he didn't choose art.
It chose him; it's in his blood.

In the end, what motivates him is the possibility of inspiring others with his music and story. His greatest dream is for his art to be a light for those in need, just as many artists have been for him. That's why he continues to produce, perform, and share his work with the world, hoping that it can positively touch someone's life.

ChaseWest returns to Revival New York as he links up with Argentina’s Discip. for the first time across their two-track ‘Dopamine’ EP.
A bubbling artist stateside, ChaseWest has built on a string of strong shows as the likes of Club Space and Floyd, plus EDC Las Vegas, CRSSD, and Hard Summer to show precisely why he can count the likes of PAWSA and Michael Bibi in an ever-growing list of supporters. Returning to the label following his doubleheader in New York for the imprint’s recent three-part showcase, late July sees him combine with emerging Cordoba-based DJ/ producer Discip. for their first ever collaboration ‘U.’ - with the fresh-faced Argentinian also serving up the EP title track ‘Dopamine’ solo on the b-side.
Already in rotation for Joseph Capriati and Jamie Jones, the slinking sounds of ‘U.’ lead listeners and dancers down a trippy, groove-heavy path guided by evolving synths, warping female vocals and a zig-zagging bassline as the pair unveil a peak-time effort packed to the brim with energy. Stepping out solo, Discip. then welcomes a menacing groove and further hooky vox interjections for a rumbling production made for the late hours.
