We are very happy to share the very first - likeminded - release with you delivered by our dear friend and amazing producer Luca Donzelli.
 
- likeminded - is not like the common, genre-specific labels as we know them all too well, not another imprint that’s dropping hardly distinguishable productions every week. The basic principle coming to effect in this venture would be called ‘laissez-faire’ in its mother tongue. 
 
It’s not just one particular style of music to be released here, but rather all sorts of high class productions. likeminded offers a home for everything that represents the different tempers of the contributing producers and stands for diversity, as we believe in total artistic liberty.

Liverpool DJ & Producer Eldon lets loose on Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two with a triple blast of low slung groovy numbers, accompanied by a tight Fleur Shore remix to complete the ‘Los Cinco’ EP. 

Previously releasing on the likes of Trick, Hottrax, Sola and Nervous Records, Eldon has been turning heads and making his mark on the scene, racking up an impressive discography since 2021.  The ‘Los Cinco’ EP marks a return for Eldon to Four Thirty Two, following 2021’s ‘Booty Shaker’ EP.

The title track ‘Los Cinco’ opens the EP, with stripped back raw basslines and mesmerising vocal interludes. ‘Formally Known’ takes the sound in a bouncier direction, equipped with an infectious groove, tasteful blips & bleeps, and juicy percussive hits. 

Fleur Shore’s remix of ‘Formally Known’ moves the original in an industrialised-retro direction, as heavyweight steely percussive elements knock in time with a rounded brazen bassline.  Fleur has been firing on all cylinders of late, with a run of releases for Cuttin’ Headz, Boogeyman and Edible under her belt.

‘Wait A Minute’ rounds off Eldon’s original three tracks with a sequenced dancing bassline glued together by a sturdy drums ensemble.

Italian mainstay Leon makes a long-awaited debut on Hot Creations with Disco 3000. Set for release on 9th October, the three-track EP draws inspiration from a range of influences, most notably the early American house scene.

As the title suggests, Disco 3000 kicks things off in a feel-good fashion with punchy kick drums and an echoing lyric that states “making it for sure.” Groove It makes an appearance next, as spacey synths conjoin on a no-nonsense, up- tempo bassline to form a real peak-time dance number, before T-House rounds off proceedings with a fast-paced kick-hat backbone and infectious, echoing vocals.

A regular in the electronic music scene for more than a decade, Leon is no stranger to producing dance floor ready house music, having released on the likes of Relief, Defected and Crosstown Rebels to name a few. Performances at places such as Sunwaves and Pacha have helped cement his standing as one of the true heavy-hitters, whilst his recent releases, including those on Crosstown Rebels and Moan Records, have further confirmed his reputation.
