Spare Time

Eastern State is a local three-piece Pop Punk band emerging from the Northeast Philadelphia area.  After making our genesis in the early months of 2015, the band has spent its time performing, writing, and recording our original music.  

Following the releases of our first EP and Blink 182 cover EP began the production of our first full-length album, "Idle Pride."  This self-produced record includes a culmination of hard-hitting guitar riffs, punchy drum beats, and sarcastic yet positive lyrics.  "Idle Pride" yields ten original songs written by the band, and is the band's sole property, released on 29 May 2016.  

Following a lineup change, the band decided to head in a new direction. Our next EP "New Leaf" drops in December 2017!

The band takes inspiration from several musical outlets and backgrounds.  To name a few, some major influences include Weezer, Taking Back Sunday, The Story So Far, Paramore, Blink 182, Turnover, Sublime, Good Charlotte, and many more.
