Long ago in the deep, dark town,
The Macmerry murderer came around
He was all in black with a leather mask
And he never made a sound

Victim one was shot with a gun
He saw him coming and tried to run
And though he survived 
He was buried alive
And the murderer thought it was fun

THE COLA MONSTER

Someone dropped a bottle of cola
Into the River Esk
It mixed with Neurotoxin
Created a monster
What a sticky fizzy mess.

The monster got bigger and bigger
The more and more cola it drank
In Musselburgh town
It wandered around
Then into the Forth it sank

He’s humongous, he’s fizzy
A brown sticky mess
What he does next is anyone’s guess

Everybody is DOOMED!

The Cola monster swam to France
And polluted the Eiffel Tower
It went to New York City
With all it’s toxicity
And used it’s magnificent power

It stole bottles of cherry cola
From American boys and girls
It went into space
And built its own place
It’s King of C-C- Cola world!

Mr McGrinchy, he’s a nasty man
He thinks he’s king of Haddington, and hits you with a pan.
Mr McGrinchy makes people sick

For breakfast he eats onions, 
His breath is really mingin’
You know he’s coming doon the street 
When you hear him singin’.

The fish stole a dish
The monkey stole the chutney

PIPSQUEAK THE MONSTER

Under the Nungate bridge
Lives the monster Pipsqueak
Red eyes and purple fur
Spikey nails and sharp teeth
She’s a strange little creature
No-one wants to go near her
But I had to go and see
And here’s what she said to me..

“I’m Pipsqueak the monster – that’s me, and I’ll eat you for my tea!”

Pipsqueak became my friend
We would go for pizza 
Then we went to the park
So my friends could meet her
Pipsqueak seemed to like them
But I wondered if she’d eat them?
So I asked her innocently
And here’s what she said to me..

“I’m Pipsqueak the monster – that’s me, I won’t eat them for my tea!”

One by one my friends
Began to disappear
Pipsqueak grew and grew
I had to go and see her.
Pipsqueak was gigantic 
I began to panic
So I asked her “was it you? 
Who ate my friends? Did you?

The Dragon of Arthur’s Seat

One dark night in Edinburgh, long ago
A Sorceror tortured a dragon 
and left him for dead in an old volcano
Years went past, the dragon he awoke
He burst right out of the mountaintop
And took revenge on the city below

The dragon flew into the town
They saw the creature swoop down
They knew the beast would make them his feast, so they ran.
It’s claws were sharper than knives
The people all fled for their lives 
They saw the fire, they felt the heat, 
From the dragon of Arthur’s Seat

The dragon summoned the ghosts from Edinburgh graves
Murderers, robbers and demons
Emerging from their ghostly caves
All together, on the city streets
They terrorized the locals
And brought the city to its knees
