For the latest issue we got an impressive contribution from @ungloriousmaterial
Some of you may know his mysterious track collection on Soundcloud called Magie Noire. What you have been looking for almost in vain so far: a mix recorded by him (with the one exception six years ago for "Strange Sound From Beyond"). Therefore, we feel blessed he took the request to do this rare recording.

Just as carefully as the Parisian artist paints his pictures, he has put together this musical masterpiece. It follows seamless his affinity for DIY- and obscure-amateur-music you probably never heard before. In doing so, he easily reinterpreted the term „world music“ into a different context: as a creation of our world/earth, a certain genesis, which he describes with the following words:

„First came the word. Then from the chaos came the earth with vegetation, animals, stars and then human.
With human came love, the love were consumed and then went away. It left the place to cries, sadness, doubts, and with it came wars, bombs.
Blinded in a leisure atmosphere/society, how this gonna end?"

Running Hot Radio welcomed Universal Cave to the show this month. They warmed up in the first hour with some reggae & dancehall before Universal Cave ran an hour of disco gems in the second.

'twas a breezy & bright easter Monday morning. The air was warm and it filled our lungs with optimism. The mudlarks & magpies chirped a-like, filling the space with harmonies & song. Oranges were squeezed & celery sticks munched. Bellies full of laughter & upturned lips. The tree gently swayed above us & the bodies moved in unison. Protected, together, our nest.  Looks shared, turn for turn, a partnership. Smoke rises, rays part through. "Friends for life?" "Okie Dokie!"

I rammed some records in a bag, jumped into a cab, and played the first two hours. If he would have showed up only five minutes later, I would have started to play the b-sides, but it was very sweet.
