The Herschel Probe (2005)

New digital single of instrumental hip hop, titled 'Down the Tracks'. The first of four tracks by easy 3 to be released over the next few months, Down the Tracks is a funky, boom bap influenced, bassline-heavy track, with a skipping hi-hat pattern reminiscent of the rhythm of a train rolling down the tracks.

Down the Tracks

Pendre Gardens is named after the cul-de-sac in my hometown where my family lived when I was an infant. In a similar vein to my most recent couple of sample-based beat-tape type albums, 'In Pieces' (2020) and 'Relative' (2022), Pendre Gardens reflects deep feelings of nostalgia for happy early childhood memories, with a wistful, slightly poignant edge.
