our beautiful launderette was a man dressed as a woman, big and black, cool as the night. left poetry in amongst our freshly cleaned clothes, a sweet savage, a man/lady of the night....................

AQUA VELVET

EASYKILLER. A little band that always will, A project with Ben Blanchard singing and playing guitar, Ken Kinna (aka) Killer, playing his not favorite roll as the bass man, and Dave O. doing duty behind the drum kit. Together the boys wrote when they could, mostly from Benny, then filtered through the process of Ken and Dave in rehearsals to refine the structure of the songs and come up with the good textures and sweet hooky moments. They did play a few gigs around the Boston area and one funny one in New York at the Bowery poetry room, and did these recordings out in somerville MA. as they all seemed to be going in different directions spiritually. One to New York one to Los Angeles and one of course staying in Boston.  EASYKILLER seemed to fade into the hardrive of time, yet that is a shame, because this much feeling and emotion and work should be held up to the light, a findable gem of work. The boys are currently considering a Kickstart page to collect funds for a redo of the entire album at a higher fidelity studio out in Los Angeles.
