MoDem Festival‬ in Croatia is widely considered one of the best, and most important, festivals on the psytrance calendar. It’s influence on the festival scene cannot be understated. When I started making this music, I promised myself that, before I was 30, I wanted to play on the Hive stage. Well, 5 days before my 30th birthday, I had the honour of doing just that. It did not disappoint, and it was the best dancefloor I have ever had the privilege of experiencing.

I decided early on that this was where I was going to debut my new album (forthcoming soon on Bom Shanka Music) and record the entire set. So, here it is – the full video of my set on Thursday 8th August 13:30-15:00 on the Hive.

Thank you to everyone that danced, everyone that filmed and everyone that gave me emotional support in the stress of finishing the tracks before the gig! While staying true to my own style, the mix carries a distinct Hopper touch. I hope many people will take a listen." began his journey in 2004, inspired by West Coast Hip Hop. As he delved into different genres, a transformative encounter with Psychedelic Trance in 2007 set him on the path to becoming a Psychedelic Trance DJ. Known for his distinctive style and rhythm, he channels his experiences into sound, movement, and dance, creating a dynamic connection between music and the body.  In 2020, he joined DE LA TRIP in Nagoya, followed by Time and Space in Osaka in 2021. Starting in the summer of 2024, DJ MAFI will officially represent Grasshopper Records as a label DJ.
