@decadesdnb and @1by-one debut on Neuropunk with a stunning three-tracker!

I know it's hard to believe that New Olympus was once considered a bastion of hope in the futuristic wastelands that we call home, but you're going to have to trust me on this one. That is, until the still on-going war between the city's two factions, us cybernetically-enhanced "Cybers" and the upper city's squeaky-clean "Suits", erupted, but you knew that already. Let me tell you about something you might not know yet - how exactly it all began.

Don't get me wrong, there was always tension between us and them. Crime, discrimination, you name it. The rebellion you know today was already well on its way, with our de-facto leaders Maxwell and Zarah organising protests all over the city. Through everything, through thick and thin, they always had each other's back. However, one day Maxwell didn't show up on their regular strategy meetings, which set off Zarah's alarm bells. She immediately left the room. There was NOTHING LEFT TO SAY for her, she knew that someone must have gotten to him and she knew she had to something about it, quickly.

She rushed to his apartment, where she found a lingering aerial recording that Maxwell managed to leave via our STAZIS messaging system. However, she only managed to make out one thing: "Rescue Me". Plus, a whole lot of obscenities towards his captors. These damn Suits must have gotten to him. Luckily, he anticipated this, which is why he connected his tracking chip to the recording, allowing Zarah to quickly locate his position. A little bit too quickly for her tastes, but every moment counted here, so she geared up and set out to infiltrate their hideout.

She works her way through the, for her, laughably lax security and arrives at the room they are keeping her partner in crime in. He seems unconscious, strapped to a kind of machine she had never seen before! As she hastily untied him, his eyes shot open. However only when he spoke up, his voice now a menacing mechanical growl repeatedly grunting "Let me SEE YOUR EYES" at her, did she notice something was off. It was already too late at that point though. He grabbed her, immediately injecting the remote-control program that the Suits had infected him with into her arm. They had become mindless puppets. With the intel extracted from their memories, the Suits were able to decimate our forces, effectively slowing the movement down by decades. However, we have persevered. And we WILL get our revenge.

They gave up their eyes in the quest for real vision, gave up their souls to match the black pits of their sockets, twisted and contorted in an endless orgy of bloodshed until only the strongest remained. They who were blind to their humanity, stripped of virtue, naked against the vast heavens above, enshrouded in the entrails of their enemies. In the aftermath of each assault, under the watchful eyes of their offworld shepherds, they gathered their strength again and prepared for the next INVASION.  

The DUB ELEMENTS duo return to the expansive EATBRAIN label in force, following up their 2 track pincer movement with ‘POW’ and ‘Shots Fired’ on the Mirror Universe compilation with their first full release - the INVASION EP. The mass of supplicants prostrated just beyond its twisted paws, their pathetic mewling pleasantly caressing the towering feline fiend’s ears as they expressed their divine agony. Drinking up the delicious earmilk of their pain, it reclined languidly in its glorious pedestal; a mass of flesh and sinews with the fine carved bones from the countless many condemned to this realm of eternal torment. Its three eyes rolled apathetically to fall upon one particular beggar, drained of almost all remaining life from her years pennance, spent at the foot of the infernal throne, worshipping the glory of pain in all its truth and crying for salvation. The utter futility of this endeavor suddenly dawned on the great cat, as the constancy of myriad calls made for escape fell upon his ears at once. Suddenly annoyed by this ever-present sound, he reached out, spearing the pathetic being before him with a claw and flinging her from into rock and into the depths of the molten river below. His eyes watched her form ignite and fade in the heat, her soul joining others to be swept into its current on a journey to be reborn as pitiful lesser devils elsewhere in the plane. How benevolent an act, the cat thought to itself, freeing the pitiful creature from her suffering for a brief moment and more even - giving her the opportunity of such an esteemed metamorphosis. Even though the pathetic fiend she would be reborn as would hold not even a candle to his own magnificence, it would still be a marked improvement against the limits of her prior flesh. Sated by his own thoughts, he leaned forward once, rotating his vast ears to better drink in the fresh desperate energy of the remaining supplicants. Its hideous mouth opened to a wide, sharp smile, revealing cruelly serrated fangs that shone unnaturally with a umbral hue. “A reward for my benevolence,” he thought as he plucked the nearest wretch from the rock with a single talon, his pupils sharpening with focussed malevolence as he tossed them into his fur-lined maw. Satisfied, his hunger temporarily sated, there was but one thing left to do. He would take a nap.

The ZOMBIE CATS return to the label that set the fire on their ferocious project back in 2014, placing them on a fierce trajectory of furiously kinetic releases that have brought them to the present, their most pointed assault on the eardrums yet with the WORLD’S END EP on EATBRAIN. With the title track tearing out of the mouth of hell with slower bpm but highly charged energy, further establishing the newly forming neurowave genre, the cats make a bold statement from the outset. Much time had passed since that first moment of DIVERGENCE, in which one had sacrificed the joys of his existence for the betterment of all. Where once a man had stood, now a great tree remained, presiding over the village with the commanding presence of its incredible size. For years the magic of its boughs had shielded those below from harm, but time had worn upon its trunk and the wards that it projected now threatened to falter at the onslaught of the spirits that had long thrown themselves at the border. A single life, it seemed, could not keep evil at bay for all eternity. This fact was known to the council of the village below, and as the great tree began to slip from the world, they set in motion a further plan.

In the depths of one of the great mountains that surrounded the village, its every inhabitant worked tirelessly, hewing and hauling the stone bones of the earth out from the grand chamber they were constructing. At its center, the village’s most skilled artisans worked diligently, inscribing the face of a great obelisk with runes and symbols in a language known to none of them. Night and day the village toiled, until at the final strike of a pickaxe they heard a most ominous sound. A pained groan uttered its way through the valley, followed by the thunderous impact of what could only be the felling of the great tree. The villagers cowered within the cavern, watching in horror as the spirits of evil began to flit about the ceiling above them. Yet as all seemed lost each spirit that had entered the chamber was wrenched downwards, its essence bound to the great obelisk, which trapped their visages in caricatures of agony upon its surface. Though the flood of spirits seemed unending, each and every one soon found itself within a similar stone prison as the dissonant howls of these creatures of evil faded into nothingness within its earthly being. At this sight, the village rejoiced whilst remembering the one who had sacrificed much for them. Though life could not hold back the flood of DIVERGENCE, stone would bind it to its inescapable form.
