"Seduction Scale" is a musical introspection celebrating 10 years of The Clamps and 10 years of Kosenprod label aswell. 
A journey into Drum & Bass Music in his largest dimension, combining angry beats, gritty bass, melancholy and storytelling spiced with some mechanical and industrial movements. Julien collaborated with Experimental Jazz guitar player, Thomas Carbou, on the track “Family Chest”, to give a mechanical but however humanized initiatory journey in the meanders of modern experimental music.

A shadow fell with bleak weight against the broken cityscape as the towering frame of the scaled behemoth stood above the now desolate metropolis. Cold eyes flickered within the recesses of its heavy skull, surveying its fragmented and twisted domain for any remnants of the fleshy morsels of the living who had once resided there. Beneath its talons shifted stone and metal, groaning under its weight in a cacophanus lament for what had been. It lumbered forward through the carnage of the city, led by its singular mind, barely noticing as each thundering step felled the last vestiges of that once grand city around it. This city on the rocky plain, a pinnacle of the species that built it, now laid to waste by this overwhelming titan of entropy and fury. The towering skyline collapsed around the beast as it effortlessly shifted and demolished with single sweeps of its tail. Issuing a howling, guttural roar of pure, brutal energy, its inhuman rage resounded throughout the city, angular audio reflections bouncing across the broken buildings and striking fear deep into the hearts of those who still clung to a wretched life. They haunted the shadows, hiding from the its ravenous hunger, hidden away in fear amongst the crumbling concrete. With a burst of sudden fury the beast twisted, striking at a skyscraper and tearing it open, spilling the mess of its insides and the once precious multitude of human things across the streets below. But missing was the softness of the meal it craved. It lumbered onward, the strange paths which this insignificant species had laid, leading it through the decaying land... a constant drive for flesh feeding its voracious desire - that endless, unfillable void. Its stride echoed with the ominous assurance of recurrence, its cycle of consumption would begin anew.

Deep within the shifting sands lay the remains of a once great city, a monument to the hubris of those who had once thought they could conquer the indomitable forces of the planet. To hold back the everpresent encroachment of the dunes they had raised walls of great heights, built upon the sacrifice of those least fortunate among them, those condemned to work beneath the blistering heat of the land. It was through their blood that the city was built, through their blood that the fortunate lived in such an otherwise inhospitable climate. As the death of these sacrifices increased however, they bore new life elsewhere. Their blood, seeping through the cracked desert soil, awakened something long since sealed away.

Fed by their misery, the creature’s power grew beneath the dunes. For each that fell it became stronger, its hunger rising as it tasted more and more that which had been denied to it for so long. Upon the night of the sun’s peak it rose, driven by the heat that still radiated from the earth. It was a malstrom of sand, fire, and bone, an amalgamation of destruction which surged across the landscape. What little life there was in this desolate place was subsumed into its maw, becoming a part of the dynamo which swept towards the city. Its winds battered against the walls, grinding their stones to dust which only furthered the creature’s power. In minutes it had broken through, and as the city was swallowed within the vortex the DUST DEVIL reclaimed for the desert what was its own once again.

MIZO returns to EATBRAIN with the release of DUST DEVIL, a five track EP featuring collaborations with TRILO & CHASER. DOUBLE RUSH features the powerful combination of MIZO & CHASER, as well as the combination of a frantic topline and charging bass which work together to move the track forwards at a rapid pace. DUST DEVIL whips this dynamic energy into a further frenzy as its basses whirl with unrestrained fury atop a devastating drumbeat. While the gradual approach of HORIZON grows to become a steady lock-step rhythm that soars with effortless aptitude over its arpeggiated bassline, MIZO & TRILO’s ARTIFICIAL NOISE takes a different approach as it leaps into the musical melee, bolstered by the power of its roaring synths.The second collaboration with CHASER, CONTACTLESS, closes the EP, its desolate soundscape quickly transformed into a tech filled groove that rides upon its rolling sub and the strange shiftings of its tonal topline synths. The four men sat atop the ruined husk of their city, basking in the absurdity of their own survival in the face of such utter destruction. Their laughter echoed sharply off of the barren concrete that fell around them as leaves in autumn, it’s tone reflecting the strength of their shared bond and amplified by the strength of their shared drink. They looked out over the city through the gap where a wall had once stood, before being torn asunder by a hulking reptilian beast that had passed through town some months ago. Their city seemed plagued by such things, with news of mysterious propaganda machines, corrupt criminal cabals, and strange biomechanical overlords coming to light in the months that had followed that initial disaster. As their gazes wandered through the crumbling towers of the city, the sky began to glow with an eerie red light.

Before them, a rain of meteors swept through the sky, streaking towards one of the last untouched monuments of their civilization. Noticing this, the men calmly exchanged glances, calmly regarding each other as they waited for someone to be the first to break. A cacophonous roar interjected shortly thereafter as the first of the stones made impact deep within the city and the resulting tremor shook the men from their contest at once. As each scrambled to remain balanced in his chair and to retain the balance of the wine in his hand, they erupted into laughter once more at the acrobatic antics of their comrades. Returning their attention to the recent impact, they stared calmly at the approaching cloud of debris with detached confidence. With almost choreographed precision each donned a pair of sunglasses before raising their glasses in a cheer. Were there an outside observer, they may have regarded the men as fools. However, there was none, and they were not. For those who had withstood such a litany of destruction, what threat was a meteor shower? RIDO & THE GANG would come out on top. They always did.

RIDO makes his EATBRAIN debut and brings THE GANG with him for a collaborative EP featuring JOE FORD, COUNTERSTRIKE, and EATBRAIN label boss JADE as he displays his wide ranging sonic ability over four tracks on the RIDO & THE GANG EP. RIDO first takes center stage with the mysterious STRANGER which features his unique blend of melodics and fast paced sweeping basslines. JOE FORD then joins forces with RIDO for BLUEPRINT, adding his inimitable & otherworldly sonic textures to the mix for a driving bassline assault. COUNTERSTRIKE bring their trademark irreverence and hard edged sound to DA F_K, combining with RIDO to create a profaned bassline worthy of the track’s name. The EP is then closed by THE MAZE, a collaboration with JADE narrated by a psychosis inducing vocal. Arriving with THE GANG at his back, RIDO steps up to his EATBRAIN debut with effortless power and presence.
