With an energetic pull, Sindicate (https://soundcloud.com/sindicatednb), the up-and-coming Hamburg-based producer and DJ, opens up the underworld with his banging release „Infernal / Limbus", taking us on a hypnotic journey through intense, heavy-charged Drum & Bass and Neurofunk.

Joining the ranks of Insomnius Music's fresh talent, the artist's musical journey started with piano lessons at the age of 6. He has since dedicated over ten years to refining his DJ skills, finally taking the plunge into music production in 2020, and is already leaving an indelible impression through international label releases. In his current release, Sindicate presents an enthralling musical passion that harmonizes seamlessly with his technical finesse.

In a dynamic display, the single „Infernal / Limbus” bursts forth with an intense surge of energy, exploring the enigmatic spaces that exist between our world, making escape seem elusive. „Infernal” rides on a driving kick rhythm, where the melody takes center stage, oscillating in triplets from slow to fast, conjuring an apocalyptic realm. An echo-like vocal draws listeners into the depths of hell, while the reese bass mirrors the relentless whirlwind of the underworld. On the contrasting end, „Limbus” establishes a somber atmosphere, augmented by drones and pads that reverberate like a haunting call from distant lands. The hypnotic arpeggio and profoundly dark bass instill a mesmerizing tension in the track. The Overlook Hotel’s Gold Room was quiet, save for the faint clink of ice in Jack Torrance’s glass. He leaned against the polished bar, eyes glinting with a manic edge, staring at Lloyd the bartender.

“Another bourbon, Lloyd,” Jack slurred, his grin crooked. “This place… it’s got a way of gettin’ under your skin, don’t it?”

Lloyd, pale and sharp in his red jacket, poured smoothly, his face unreadable. “Yes, sir. The Overlook has its ways.” His voice was low, like a draft through a cracked window.

Jack chuckled, swirling the drink. “You ever feel it, Lloyd? The walls whisperin’? Tellin’ ya to… fix things?” His fingers tightened on the glass, knuckles white.

Lloyd’s eyes flicked up, steady, almost too still. “I’ve heard whispers, Mr. Torrance. They come with the job. You listen long enough, you start to answer.”

Jack laughed, sharp and hollow, echoing in the empty room. “Oh, I’m answerin’, Lloyd. I’m answerin’ loud and clear.” He downed the bourbon, the burn fueling the fire in his chest.

Lloyd wiped the counter, slow, deliberate. “Careful, sir. Some answers don’t let you go.”

Jack’s grin faltered, just for a second, as the lights flickered. The Overlook held its breath.

The Blackout train has well and truly left the station already in 2017, and with the year’s debut single from Black Sun Empire featuring collaborations with Noisia and Pythius the momentum that is being gathered so early is bordering on frightening.

BSE have delivered another beautifully constructed single that blends the tough sound fans are used to with Noisia’s brains and Pythius’ brawn. The depth of knowledge and talent in tandem with BSE’s creative capacity makes the single just the adrenaline shot the scene needed to jump start the year. “The Veil” takes a more scaled back approach by pushing its energy through a souled out bassline, whilst Pythius’ influence can be heard in “Catalyst” as it swings violently, yet gracefully, through a string of hot tempered breaks.

The great news is that this is not just a single release, but the prologue to an epic journey that Black Sun Empire are to embark upon in 2017, with the group stating recently:
“we’re excited to announce we’ve been working on our next album and we’re almost finished, can’t wait to tell everyone more about it soon”
As a statement this is incredible news, as many fans and peers have been waiting for a BSE longplayer for a while. However, when you look at “The Veil”/”Catalyst” as the hors d’oeuvre and appetiser, the main course is guaranteed to attain Michelin star status.

It was the product of eons of research, an infinitely divisible weaponized molecule with the power to viciously disrupt at a granular level. Its innocuous smooth, red exterior glinted sharply under the labs harsh fluorescent lighting as it sat singularly ready, packed with the kinetic malevolence of its design. Subject 01304 sat with the wide staring eyes of a prey animal, small droplets of perspiration erupting from the pale skin of his face and shifting with the continual nervous twitching within his restraints. The faceless assistants administered the Redpill swiftly and without resistance as the observers watched with dark eyes, gazing without emotion upon their work. Inside the dark, moist interior of the subject, the pill’s casing split, its infernal contents spilling out, bonding with the subject’s biomatter, multiplying, attaching itself to each of his organic molecules, maliciously converting and evolving… hungrily devouring and pushing relentlessly towards the endstate of its design. The observers watched as the subject’s body distorted, heaving internally as he uttered inhuman sounds and twisted at his restraints. Black tendrils laced through the surface of his skin, suddenly tightening, before he both at once ruptured and imploded. The Redpill’s process was complete… amongst the carnage the tentacled black mass of teeth and gaping hollow eyes reached eerily towards the glass, the shadow of death in its wake.

EATBRAIN inducts its newest recruit in the form of French producer REDPILL, delivering 6 powerful slices of neurofunk (including a collaborative piece with Eatbrain veterans ZOMBIE CATS) for the CORRUPTION EP. Its hulking form loomed impressively over the landscape with silent menace, intricately laced with the forbidden technology of its inherent design - discrete but powerful audio weaponry blisters in low profile across its chassis. Its journey from the depths of the continent to the crucible of Europe had been arduous, following the densely interwoven fiber stands laid down by the Controller itself, webbed across the hemisphere to gather sonic intel from the core label habitats and to signal the gathering once per cycle at the apogee of solar proximity. With the arrival of that signal, the EATBRAIN cluster had erupted in a frenzy of activity, initiating the activation sequences planned by their greatest minds. An upload of the entire population into the vast mechanism of their creation, a design with the pure objective of sonic decimation at the LIR battle royale. It stood there against the skyline looking down at that sector, the Controller’s ship setting down in the dust of the ancient, abandoned military base, the arriving vessel unfurling resonators and speaker stacks primed with off-world mechanisms. Without hesitation the vast Eatbrain mecha issued its sequence of final checks, loading the audio assimilation interface destined to annihilate all below and took a stride towards the awaiting masses.
