Ebanks was born in Boston of Jamaican heritage.
At age eight his family moved to Brockton MA, a city South of Boston. 
His early years were filled with performance and music.

As a child and young man growing up in an urban city, Ebanks faced many temptations but did his best to stay clear of negative possibilities that could come his way by acting, dancing and rapping. Rap was a gift and passion, the more abstract beats are what is most inspiring. Influenced by old school and underground such as Nas, Curren$y, MF DOOM and J Dilla, Ebanks wants to bring a soulful and authentic feel to his music. 

He wants it to be known that his music relates his experience. Growing up with a good childhood and strong stable family kept him on track; though Ebanks has experienced how both positive and negative lifestyle choices have changed the lives of those around him. That's what the music is about, one person finding a way through life and making his own path.
