In Babylon, those days
Men followed Satan's ways.
Yet there stood apart these four young men.
They were consecrated, separated
As God's testimony in that age.
Daniel and his three friends sanctified themselves.
They stood out; they're diff'rent from their peers.
They belonged to God and stood against the tide.
They were one with God what'er betide.

Daniel had keen insight;
He's one who has God's sight;
For he read the Scriptures all the time.
He was constituted, saturated;
He was soaked, immersed into God's Word.
It was revealed to him from the Word that God 
Will release them from captivity. 
He then mused the Word; his heart was set on fire,
And he joined himself to God's desire. 

Daniel knelt down and prayed;
He prayed three times a day.
Thus, he paved the way for God to move.
He coordinated, co'perated
With God's will by praying with his friends.
The Lord is bringing His kingdom down to earth.
Hence, He needs some people who would pray;
Those who are one with God's eternal plan;
And through prayer, fulfill God's will for man. 

Daniel and his three friends
Were faithful to the end.
They did not care even if they'd die.
They were captivated, motivated;
They risked all and only lived to God.
Nothing can stop them from serving the true God;
They loved not their soul life unto death.
They were absolute and stood there faithfully;
They emerged from death triumphantly.
