A Mother Knows

Think of this as a modified cover. I want to prefix this track by saying I by no means, believe I am a better song writer, musician or singer than the members of Coldplay, I have the upmost respect for them all. When I wrote the lyrics I couldn't figure out how it should sound, so I experimented with songs I already knew and had a connection with and Coldplay's 'Fix You' was the perfect fit.

Lola's Lullaby

An honest, angry purge. 
Similarly to 'Lola's Lullaby' this is a modified cover and I by no means, believe I am a better song writer, musician or singer than the members of Florence + the Machine. I have the upmost respect for them. I even refer to Florence Welch as aunty Florence because she just seems to get me and everything I've been through. Her music is so empathetic and relatable.    
When I wrote the lyrics to Scumbag I was really frustrated and hurting, there was this darkness in me I needed to escape from. Ironically 'What Kind of Man' was released at the same time and the two just seemed to fit together harmoniously. 
It is juxtaposed to Lola's Lullaby but I hope it portrays versatility as an artist and a writer.
