@cotto_music's back with a two-track heater for the heads craving that classic hard house energy. "Bring Tha Hard House Back" lives up to its name with a jacking swing that fits in a chunky, disco-infused bassline. A squelchy Korg cuts through the mix, while orchestral stabs and vinyl scratches on the breakdown evoke a legit 90s street brawler video game vibe. On the flip, "Roll On" takes a darker turn, a brooding speed garage number perfect for late-night sets. Follow the driving techno kick to a drop where a manky bassline pulsates beneath flickering electronics. Prepare to get lost in this one.

Nottingham’s very own n4tee brings speedy g and hard house warfare on this double-tracker. First up, “88kru” gives no time to settle, instead packing in enough blasting sound FX to fill up a lazer quest arena. Then, n4tee takes you up to the big boss: a behemoth breakdown with a doom-stricken bassline that knocks the dust off the drums. “Riddim Runnaz” hands over to a thrusting house groove that spools and unspools like a turbine. When you think you’ve got it pegged, the track digs deeper to find a grizzly second drop spawned from the depths of the Earth. A stretched voice in “88kru” declares “you can’t bring me down”, and with this addition to the Digital Only Series, you’ll be on board.

N4TEE - Riddim Runnaz/88kru

French producer and Rinse France resident Hyas debuts on ec2a with a two-tracker that pioneers EUKG - velvety European garage featuring verses from a duo of MCs from across the channel. “Mit Rauch” taps up Germany’s Vitus04 for some freestyle energy. Whipping percussion and drips of organ lay the foundation for the rapper to launch into breathless flows in the verses, vaulting over each bar like a true lyrical olympian.

Over a bristling frenzy of speedy G hi-hats, Sheffield’s Silva Bumpa comes through with a snotty, disco-flavoured bassline burner on “Automatic.” The drop tumbles down the bar stairs, dusts itself off and does it all over again over a rock-solid swing. Bumpa throws flashes of a disco ball in the mix, as well as a swaggering vocal sample which slows down just enough to make the whole track feel even more nimble. Glamorous and gritty, it’s classic Silva Bumpa tekkers.

Back On Da Mic (feat. Osmosis Jones, IsGwan, Prizefight & Waxx Off)

Swiss-born, Barcelona-based Thelma’s weighty techno unrolls into high-torque burnouts made for ec2a. “Greenhouse” is divided into four drops, but you’ll never hear the same one twice. It grabs the ears with an all-encompassing, somersaulting vocal and is then swapped out for a suave organ lead, then tension-drenched chord stabs, before finally joining forces. Broken up by jubilant low-pass filter rises, she keeps the dancefloor moving as one with every new sound. The flip side “This World” shows that she speaks fluent speed garage too, enough to accent it with a cryptic dream pop vocal and spring-loaded tech-house percs inside.

2025 has been a year of consistently high-tier UK inspirations from Australian artists, and the latest release by Osmosis Jones also makes that point clear. The Naarm/Melbourne-based producer's 'Pop Da Molly' is a fun, quirky and high energy taste of his EP of the same name, releasing this Wednesday.

'Pop Da Molly' does what many dance floors are asking for right now, 90s inspired simplicity.

Of the track, Jones shared:

"Lyrics from my musical past just appear in my head like premonitions, I was pacing around my house singing "pop da molly I'm sweatin, instagram straight flexin" and I knew I had to get busy, it somehow turned into a percussive tech house tune, I was really thinking outside the box that day. I sent it to Interplanetary Criminal and he played in at Let Them Eat Cake Festival, after that I knew I had cooked."

'Pop Da Molly EP' releases this Wednesday, April 30 via ec2a's Bandcamp & via streaming platforms.
