my neighborhood

Drøwne is a duo by Daniele Sorrenti & Rodrigo Guzman: their debut album 'ØNE' was released in the summer of 2022 on EXILES. 

The project is a relation between electronic artifacts and emotional dialogues, oscillating between noise, drone and eerie ambient atmospheres. Indirectly inspired by intrusive anxiety and the fear of the finite. Recorded live at Drøwne | Imre Kiss | Sabw | SKEB listening event in collaboration with PAIKKA. 

Sepia Sound Studio is an innovative multipurpose environment created for the pleasure of listening, home of “sonic well-being”. An audiophile studio in the heart of art quarter budapest equipped with a state of the art, fully linear d&b audiotechnik system.

PAIKKA is a newly emerging project space based in Budapest, which is aimed to provide opportunities for experimentation, collaboration, and alternative learning for creators in the field of Art, Technology and Science.

∎ @temporarynites / is a Budapest-based advanced electronic media collective founded in 2021 by Veleva Milena and Benedek Csaba (@noirnite). They have been making events ever since their launch with the aim of refreshing the local club scene not only focusing on music but visual shows as well. Releasing this album shows how colorful the label’s taste is as you can find tracks from soft ambient songs to crushing free tekno ones.

∎ @eccotvirgo / EccotVirgo is the moniker under which Esteban de la Torre explores the deep end of drone music, swamp gaze and dub-influenced broken rhythms. He pivots his work between the physicality of spatialized sound and the artifacts of psycho-acoustic minimalism, aiming to shake your bones via stochastic spirituals and kick drums of eternal decay. Born in Mexico City, he is a sound and meta-media artist based in Budapest.

Blues Alif Lam Mim In the Mode Of Rag Infinity/Rag Cosmosis is a new composition from Catherine Christer Hennix's expanded just-intonation ensemble, the Chora(s)san Time-Court Mirage. The expanded ensemble includes vocalists Imam Ahmet Muhsin Tüzer, Amir Elsaffan and Amirtha Kidambi, an expanded brass section with the addition of Paul Schwingesnschlögl and Elena Kakaliagou, and the additon of Marcus Pal and Stefan Tiedje on electronics. This new piece was recorded live at the Issue Project Room and was mastered by Dubplates + Mastering in Berlin. 
Live At Issue Project Room is packaged in a deluxe letterpressed sleeve and is being issued at the same time as Central Palace Music from 100 Model Subjects For Hegikan Roku, a recording of Hennix's ensemble from 1976, also on Important.

Live Performance on a 13 Channel Textile Sound System https://vimeo.com/406830184

Textiles augmented into acoustic transducers function as loudspeakers by translating an electrical signal into its corresponding vibration and sound. Independent channels are designated to the textiles placed within the space. Light and sound are used as the building blocks of a liminial state induced by the timbre of textile and the materiality of sound.

Performed at FKSE during FRONTEND, an exhibition by David Biro.
