After releasing his album ('Two Truths' 2020 - Passage) and composing music for theatre and dance for a year, Bastian Benjamin is back with new music. All the soundscapes in Ark are coming from his new modular synthesizer and field recordings that he made in his backyard.

Bastian Benjamin is a versatile artist hailing from the eastern part of The Netherlands who has an experimental approach to creating and playing music. This is reflected in both his live and DJ sets, which are characterised by eclectic drums, heavy basses, moody pads, and fragile textures. His IDM inspired sets are always filled with unreleased material from his upcoming releases to newly made sketches from a day old.

Transitioning between realities becomes effortless. From dusky swamps to abandoned towns, from frozen lakes to lava plains. The landscape grows increasingly saturated, the sun intensifying its heat, while plants become withered. In the absence of sunlight, darkness envelops everything in pitch blackness. Surprisingly, this darkness provides a much-needed break. The transitions between dreamscapes keep accelerating relentlessly. You’re starting to yearn for peace of mind. The world has surpassed a threshold of which there’s nothing but infinity left.
