Thane released “Traffic Jam”, the title track of their debut 7″ single in 1980. The 101 Club, Clapham later secured the track for 101 Records ‘Beyond the Groove’ compilation LP along with The Fix, Modern Man, and the Electric Eels, amongst others. Produced by Dave Moore, “Traffic Jam” [BAD 03] was on Badge Records and backed by “Frankie Boy”. It was also released in France on the Arabella label [102273] that same year. To say i was looking forward to making this mix and warming up for Billy "Daniel" Bunter at the Mid Life Krisis 5th Birthday Avin it Large at The Barge weekend, is an understatement! Thank you to everyone that came, saw, bonkered, danced, sweated, laughed and whooped their way thrugh my set and the entire weekend. It was just beautiful and the rig was literally shaking the foundations. Massive thank to the Mid Life Krisis crew for having me back to play. It's always a pleasure and a lot of fun for sure. This picture was taken from within the MiLK Float just as the sun began to set - Noice!
Feel free to crank this one up, but beware of wompy baselines - they'll get you hooked on the harder stuff before you know it!
