The other night I just could'nt sleep and as I was lying there, the idea for this entire little old fashioned folk song came into my head. So I got up at 2.00am and wrote the tune and lyrics in around fifteen minutes and then immediately recorded it in around 30 minutes! I just loved my little story idea. It came from out of nowhere and reminded me of almost a lifetime ago, when I was just a young kid first playing in Folk Clubs, the old music still locked inside me. Faces and people I missed clear in my mind, now lost over time, innocent days and brilliant times. It made me so happy. Music like a time machine. Wow!

It happened to me and changed my life forever. And to me as a musician they're like a lost song I will never get the chance to play again. Hence the title. My Lost song.
