Echo Libero presents the remastered first release on vinyl and digital edition of the self-titled CD by the group E.A.T. from 1997.

Consisting of the musicians Helmut Zerlett (Dunkelziffer, Phantom Band), 
Reiner Linke (Dunkelziffer) and Boris Polonski.
The music is characterised by a combination of club-oriented elements, abstract percussion, and subtle electronic references. This amalgamation of sonic elements can be considered a logical consequence of the legendary and experimental Stollwerk years in Cologne during the 1980s.

Upon initial listening, the sound is characterised by a pronounced electronic quality, yet it is simultaneously imbued with a profound depth that is evident in every composition. This depth serves as a testament to the impact of the prolific years spent at Stollwerk, where the creative process was particularly fruitful. Rhythms are characterised by their inherent capacity for fluidity, continuously alternating between varying tempi. The aural backdrop of electronic machines is a constant presence, its soundscapes metamorphosed and driven forward by the percussive elements of Reiner Linke's composition. This is arguably a pivotal aspect of the musical oeuvre of E.A.T., characterised by a creative openness that was evident in all of them from a young age and that is exemplified in the self-titled release. Departing from the prevailing electronic music of the era, the trio demonstrated their mastery of a distinctive auditory aesthetic that was both pioneering and resonant in the contemporary context.
