In his EP “MOIRAI”, Parapher unravels the Ancient myth of the Three Sisters of Fate.

Moirai, Clotho the spinner, Lachesis the allotter, and Atropos the unturnable were said to be Goddesses who prophesied and controlled the life of human and divine beings by handling the Thread of Life. 

Clotho spun the thread. Lachesis measured it. Atropos cut it.

Parapher draws a parallel between Moirai and his three tracks. Three different tracks, three different stories, each representing one of the three sisters.

The first track, which is called “Unborn,” represents the beginning of life (birth), and it’s connected to the first Moirai, Clotho the spinner. Clotho spins the thread of life from her distaff onto the spindle. She makes decisions as to when someone’s born, thus controlling peoples’ lives. 

His second track, “Forsaken,” combines the story of one’s destiny with Lachesis, the apportioner. Lachesis draws out the thread of life and measures it with her rod, deciding how much life is allowed for each person or being. She is also responsible for each person’s destiny, the paths, the actions they take, and the consequences that follow.

The third track, “Serpent’s Whisper,” symbolizes death. Atropos, the third Moirai, cuts the thread of life with her abhorred shears, thus ending one’s life. It is Atropos who chooses the manner of death and ends the life of mortals by cutting their threads.

This track title was inspired by Bitis Atropos, a venomous snake, which owes its name to Atropos, the third and oldest Moirai.

Tukk is an artist from Athens, Greece who made his first steps in music by performing with several Punk and Metal bands. After every show he stayed at the after parties where most of them played Dubstep which intrigued his interest in electronic music. He started producing and performing at several events and festivals in Greece alongside international artists. A few years later, he discovered Industrial Techno which greatly influenced his sound design. He began to experiment with analog synthesizers and different electronics and that's how he started finding his sound. His purpose is to share his energy with the crowd and make everyone move their bodies to the sounds of what he likes to call it, seductive Industrial Techno.
