Emotional, technical and melodic could describe Echobit's music, however nu-disco is what his sound is often referred to. Influences of house, disco, funk, techno and new wave are heard throughout. While living in Detroit and being introduced to local techno and Chicago House, his urge to start producing his own music increased. Already a guitar player and a DJ, he was able to apply his musical knowledge into his productions. With the combination of synthesizers, drum machines, bass and electric guitar, he has created a sound that pleases both musicians and DJs.
