SRNDR Records’ second release is the lead single from Singaporean producer, Saiful Idris’ upcoming album, “Fragments”. “Memories” is a deep house track that is anchored on the themes of loss and heartbreak, with haunting and melancholic melodies that tug at the heartstrings. Featuring the vocals of Echoboyy (Los Angeles, USA), the single comes with an original mix and ambient acapella.

Saiful’s productions are inspired by the sounds that brought him into dance music back in the early 2000’s, from the warm, organic, deep and soulful sounds of Osunlade, Francois K and Dennis Ferrer, and more, to the big room, electronic manoeuverings of Circulation, John Digweed and Underworld. His productions are a wonderful confluence of his varied musical influences, with elements that cut across the different sub-genres of house and techno music, but all bound by a deep appreciation of the structure and aesthetics of early but timeless electronic dance music - of the old but original school.

Originally released in 2019, SRNDR label head Saiful Idris' 'Memories' is re-released with both a remix and a remake. Idris' Remembrance Mix is an update of the original, a song that is anchored on the themes of loss and heartbreak, with melancholic melodies that tug at the heartstrings and haunting vocals courtesy of Echoboyy (Los Angeles, USA). On remix duties is Turkish producer, Çağatay Can, whose version offers a deep and brooding melodic techno interpretation of the theme. Along with the full acapella, this is a release that will surely appeal to DJs and music lovers across the different sub-genres of house music.
