If there was ever a time for a new band to leap to a level of notoriety, it’s with the release of Echoed Silence’s debut Album. Besides gleaning inspiration from cutting their teeth in the LA music scene and even supporting the likes of Puddle of Mudd and Andrew W.K., the outfit, comprised of Kyle Hudson (vocals/guitar), Gabe Sandoval (vocals/bass), Anthony Necerato (drums), and Zach Dismukes (guitar), has shaken up all aspects of its previous formula as 'Ascension' to embark upon an ambitious new chapter. From writing new music, fresh photo and video shoots, to teaming with industry veterans John Lowson for the first time, the Echoed Silence Album emotes an entirely innovative vibe on all ends of the rock spectrum. 

“We’re really excited about the direction the band has been taking, and by far, we’re the happiest with the way our songs (new and old) are taking shape,” enthuses Kyle. Besides the changes behind the scenes, there is a lot more of a collaborative process between all the members and it’s coming together quite a bit faster than their past projects. There’s also a lot of vocal character from Kyle, which really weighs in with a lot of emotion, and there’s a lot of musical variety. Some are straight forward rock songs, others are more melodic and there’s even a ballad-like slower song called "No Regret," which probably comes from them bringing so many influences to the table. 

Sonically, the collection shares mutual reference points like Foo Fighters, MUSE, SoundGarden, STP, Blink 182 and Godsmack, but by the end of the Album, listeners are likely to conclude Echoed Silence is truly in an anthemic class of its own. The group’s tenacious work habits have certainly contributed to the band’s new focus, and also helped the band tighten up and be even more efficient when it came to writing and recording speed. 

The idea of changing for the better and transitioning towards the next level also plays into the band’s album. Listeners will notice a general thread of encouragement running throughout the disc, especially on tracks like “No Regret,” while also leaving plenty of room to rock the crowd with others like “Realize” and “Maybe I Wasn't Clear.” The band states, “We are passionate about making songs that have a good meaning. We want people to be able to relate to all of our songs in their own personal way, not to bring up bad memories, but to help them conquer whatever they may be going through. We want to help people through the messages in our songs and make a difference in their lives, not just make money off songs about drugs and sex.”


The band’s work ethic is second to none. “We can’t stop thinking about what we are going to do next and where the music will lead us” asserts Kyle. Though sculpting this Album together to get the train moving, the band is already processing ideas for their next move, next album and next show. 

“We all really like playing music and always want to take it to the next level,” sums up Kyle. “Right now we’re really excited about the new sound, feel and quality of our music and I feel like there’s a broader range of people that will like it. We want to continue to write better songs, put on a better show and just keep doing the best we can, which also includes striving to be better people and serving others. We’re not looking to arrive at a particular destination, but just progress with every step on the journey.”
