Intention of the Love Diary is to create intuitive musical Journeys with Releases from specific Record-Labels that inspire me to reflect their Diversity as well as their Signature in Sound...and while the Track-Selection is a spontaneous process with the aim of offering a "Label-Taste" it really is all about flowing with the Music and the present Moment.

The Inspiration for this Project originates in a Synchronicity of Happenings:
First I had the Idea to present Music-Labels that influence(d) my musical Journey on the weekly Radio Shows that I do with my dear Friend Christian aka MeToBe (@chrisseger) as Echoes from Venus (@echoesfromvenus) on Universal Sounds Radio, an independent alternative online Radio with Focus on Spirituality and Holistic Living.

In the same Time I joined "Ting", an independent, self-regulating Project that makes "Basic Income" a real Thing (more Infos about Ting you ca find here: www.ting.community) and that was co-created by another dear Friend of mine...

And than it struck me like Lightening:
While I give Income into the Ting Community I can give a creative Output for the global Music Familia and link the two together! And that is how this Series finally was born with a deep Purpose that fills me with Joy & Gratitude which I hope to be able to share with you here. ॐ

I played my PYN 3D printed Native american flute and built up a track around it using various VST instruments and live percussion. This track is inspired by the Afro-Celt Soundsystem. P and C owned by Ralph Cree 2025

ABOUT Cigarra:

Ágatha Barbosa (Cigarra) is a DJ, VJ, performer and producer from São Paulo and currently living in Lisbon, Portugal. She is a member of Tropical Twista Records and the VOODOOHOP collective. She also leads 2 parallel projects: Jardim Eléctrico that focuses on audiovisuals and Jardim das Descoisas that focuses on kinderculture.

In her sets, Brazilian rhythms and exotic, world sounds combine with contagious low frequencies and hypnotic, seductive cuts. Playing sets for 10 of her 30 years, Cigarra released her first EP “Límbica” with tracks that have been part of the most recent history of her collage work. Her research for this EP is based on cultures that are ancestral and organic, urban and synthetic, and includes ghetto-electronics and psychedelic rock. The EP has 6 tracks based on sampling. Each one resembles a hurricane in a woman’s voice and is powerful.

Here's the recording for my DJ set from July 2nd, 2017 at the Katerblau Kiosk, hands down my favorite place to play music in Berlin.  The whole venue is a wonderland of discovery, the staff is extremely kind and hospitable, and I don't think I've played for a more open minded crowd in all of Europe. Longer sets allows you to take your time and be patient with the music, and the mixing.  The slow building journey I had imagined in my mind, was possible to make a reality, and extra time allowed me to experiment as well. This was probably my favorite gig of my entire 2 month Summer Sol Europe Tour. I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I had creating it in the Kiosk.  Thanks to Mira, Britta, Martin, Claudia, Joyce, David, Brett, Toto, Sylvie, Dorin, any other friends I may have forgotten who were there, and especially to all you lovely dancers who joined me on this ride. Aye, we are on a long time sail and it needs time to sort out all these wonderful mixes and requests. during the last weeks we had some sleep while our captain https://soundcloud.com/rolandson plays one gig after another and the crew hangs around in bars and on the Oberdeck ;)

and as we entered a bar in Vancouver we met that wonderful soul called https://soundcloud.com/nikisadeki . she is a big fan of our beloved series and has a wonderful taste in music. no long talk about it; she made a wonderful mix for us - so listen and like and share and show your love about it.

»The inspiration behind my Seaside Trip journey is this amazing poem by the beloved Pablo Neruda, called The Sea. To me, what Pablo seems to be telling us is that the sea is a living, breathing organism, whose essence is an ongoing, caressing movement. All seas, like all human lives, are joined in a certain, unbreakable way. In my Seaside Trip journey I tried to convey this message by using a full range of soul-bound beats, melodies and vocals from all around the world.« Niki Sadeki

I need the sea because it teaches me,
I don’t know if I learn music or awareness,
if it’s a single wave or its vast existence,
or only its harsh voice or its shining
suggestion of fishes and ships.
The fact is that until I fall asleep,
in some magnetic way I move in
the university of the waves.

It’s not simply the shells crunched
as if some shivering planet
were giving signs of its gradual death;
no, I reconstruct the day out of a fragment,
the stalactite from a sliver of salt,
and the great god out of a spoonful.
What it taught me before, I keep. It’s air
ceaseless wind, water and sand.

It seems a small thing for a young man,
to have come here to live with his own fire;
nevertheless, the pulse that rose
and fell in its abyss,

Musik bringt uns zusammen und lässt uns dahin gelangen wo wir sein möchten und wo wir alles sein können was wir wollen. Sie lässt uns völlig losgelöst im hier und jetzt schweben.

Music brings us together and lets us reach places where we want to be and where we can be whatever we want. It lets us flow fully uncoupled in the here and now.

Späk schenkt uns die 6. Echoes Geschichte. Speziell freut uns, dass Späk die ersten Töne an unserer ersten Echoes Zusammenkunft gespielt hat und mit seiner Heimlich Crew, die selbstverständlich aus Wien mit dabei waren, wesentlich zu einem wunderbaren Abend beigetragen haben. Vielen Dank für das alles!  Späk ist ein Meister der Intuation, darum gibt es zu seinen Set's keine Tracklist.

Späk dedicates us our 6th story. What makes this so special is that he was the first to play a tune at our first Echoes gathering. His Heimlich crew from Vienna naturally formed a part of the event supporting us with lots of enthusiasm! Thank you for this! Späk is a master of intuition, because of this there is no tracklist.

This rich dialog treats the evolution of activism beyond us-versus-them thinking, with special reference to current events around race, the indigenous, and the Amazon rainforest. Alnoor Ladha’s work focuses on the intersection of political organizing, systems thinking and narrative work. He was the co-founder and Executive Director of The Rules (TR), a global network of activists, organizers, designers, coders, researchers, writers and others focused on changing the rules that create inequality, poverty and climate change. Currently, he is active with Cura Da Terra (#CuraDaTerra), a campaign of and for the indigenous of the Amazon in their role as healers of the earth. Alnoor comes from a Sufi lineage and explores/writes about the intersection between politics and spirituality in times of crisis.
