I've been on a big Naked Flames kick lately, and so I wanted to make a lo-bit EDM track in the vein of his recent albums. A 40-second sketch turned into a 6 and a half minute rager. Hope you all enjoy and the sound doesn't weird you out too much. This will be on a future Vast Error album so stay tuned for that!

One More Hero - Chiptune Mashup

I recently came across this high-quality rip on Siivagunner's YouTube channel. For some reason it really resonated with me, stupid as that sounds, and inspired me to both find my New Leaf game that I hadn't touched in 2 years, and create this song.

I had to touch up the melody in a few places so it'd gel better, and added a solo, but for most part the structure is the same.

Art by me, again, and created in Famitracker with the VRC6 chip.

Upgraded to Famitracker 0CC recently, and made this to kind of break it in. Been going on a TMBG bender recently, so maybe more of their stuff'll make it's way onto here? We'll see.

Another TMBG song. Not my best work, but definitely not my worst. There were some transients in the leads with the 2A03 squares, so I had to port the two parts over to the VRC6 squares.

Another cover! Not quite Tally Hall, but something in the neighborhood.

This one was fun for me- I got a kick out of charting some of the solos in the middle, the bouzouki one especially. I think I got some nice timbres out of this one too, the bass (a triangle and MMC5 pulse) and some of the guitars (an FDS patch, a pulse 'blip' with some octave arpeggiation, others).

The 2A03, VRC6, FDS,  and MMC5 channels were used. Art by me, I used a painting style without using layers this time, and I think it turned out pretty good.
