This latest release is a rich tapestry of dreamy atmospheres, haunting melodies, and lyrics.

After a debut steeped in darkwave and electronic influences—widely praised by fans—August Angst returns with a refined sound. Having revisited his style, he now operates in a space that oscillates between gothic rock, dreamgaze, dark folk, and neoclassical elements.

From the opening bars, August Angst crafts an atmosphere that feels both dreamy and melancholic.

Lyrically, "L'Âme" delves deep into themes of longing, introspection, and the fleeting nature of time, expressed through beautifully crafted French poetry. Adding to the track's allure, the drums are masterfully performed by Hugo Ribeiro (Moonspell), bringing a rhythmic intensity that perfectly complements the composition. Special guest Caroline Joy Clarke contributes her sublime voice, adding an extra layer of elegance and emotional depth.
