Welcome to our third Episode of "ST.WAV". This time we invited the two sound addicted brothers @ECHOTON from Berlin / Leipzig. Initially they were playing the deepest house around Berlin in the early 3rd millennium and their passion of collecting vinyl turned into a sweet sickness in collecting hardware and software instruments, which led to vinyl releases on labels such as @spclnch (Minsk), Psicodelica (Bogota) or YARN Records (Jena). In this DJ mix they are combining ambient, deep techno and experimental electroacoustic music into an one and a half hours journey through the deeper parts of electronic music.

The painstaking preparation for the photon march took place in advance in chamber conditions. The seriousness of intentions was confirmed by loads of flasks, test tubes and neatly arranged reagents which require extreme concentration. The deductive-analytical board displayed a sequential chain of important events and complex chemical equations. The slightest oversight could lead to the disintegration of unstable elements.

Cat couldn't take his eyes out of the honed movements of the Spacelunch. In the minds of both flashed a whirlpool of thoughts, ranging from genetic engineering and varieties of crystal lattices, down to doubts and a desire to have a delicious dinner. A sleepless night in the mobile laboratory was supposed to bear fruit. However, to steal important data marked "secret", it will take much more time and effort than expected.

Bio:
With the focus on deep electronic music two sound addicted brothers established the project Echoton in 2007. Initially playing deepest house around Berlin in the early 3rd millennium, the fascination for music production evoked and led to a deeper cosmos of electronic music. The passion of collecting vinyl turned into a sweet sickness in collecting hardware and software instruments. 

Heading towards a more elaborate-sounding techno/house direction, Echoton today is mainly known for their organic and detailed vibe somewhere in between crunchy minimal, deep techno and experimental electroacoustic music. Their search for the balance between established methods and pleasant unexpected suprises keeps them rolling. 

In addition to their studio and label work they definitely love to perform, either as a DJ team or live act. This is an exchange of two brothers who understand each other implicitly and complement one another blindly.
