This record is the result of the band's jam sessions in Dubki (Moscow Region). The work refers to discrete music and its heritage. Each of the one side-long tracks contains relaxed improvisations of instruments drowning in echoes and sounds to fictional operating systems. The raw and atmospheric sound of the film with a pleasant noise will carry you to the borderline between sleep and reality.
Album was made in the fall of 2020 at the «Глухое Соседство» (Deaf Neighborhood) residence. The recording was attended by Lena Tsibizova, Emile, Piper Spray, and s0.any.

Debut album of one of the @Echotourist founders and a man who gave the name to our label – Nikita Chepurnoy (@Minereed). Nikita took psychedelic of 60-70th, hip-hop, ambient, indie-rock, breakbeat, and all the music that formed him as a musician and covered it with a modern sound of electronic music to put into a time capsule.The result, however, does not sound like a nostalgic attempt at rethinking the music of the past,  but very actual sounding songs, looking forward rather than back.

We are really excited to announce that on October 14th our next release will hit all the streaming platforms and it's already available for preorder (digitally and on the cassette). 

Purpurniy Dyadya (Purple Uncle) @prpluncl is a St. Petersburg based musician with a broad and diverse background behind.

For more than 10 years he has been publishing his music under various aliases, both solo and featuring other artists among which such Echotourist acts as Mårble, Approach, and Misha Sultan. With the new release, Purpurniy Dyadya continues to experiment at the junction of dub and industrial, adding some 90's electronic vibe to it. In his own words, he just let go and did not force his music into the box of a specific idea.
