With Sanchez's music heavily influenced by the underground house scene of NYC that brings together marginalised communities, synthesising Latin rhythms with heavy four-on-the-floor beats, 'Hit It' is a perfect demonstration of this sonic aesthetic. At its peak this dancefloor cut becomes busy in the best possible way, bursting with energy thanks to Sanchez's dense production and NEZ (Chicago)'s dynamic vocals.
