Novocaine is a story about a lover still in love with a user. Despite getting used and let down over and over again the lover can’t let go. The lover has hope in a relationship that never existed. What was disguised as love and care was lust due to unhealed trauma. Now the lover realizes he must let go to let their other half heal. So he does… but promises to be there no matter what.
