Erick Del Aguila, the renowned Peruvian producer and DJ, creates Selvagia, a project that transcends the boundaries of Latin music, crafting a unique and innovative sonic landscape filled with captivating polyrhythms, vivid textures, and high-energy that transports you. Selvagia's music has found its home on internationally acclaimed labels, including ZZK Records (Argentina), Majia (Houston/USA), Eck Echo Records (Berlin), Huveshta Rituals (Poland), Terror Negro (Peru), También (Ecuador), Radio Chiguiro (France), Folcore Records (Barcelona), Acrylic Label (Los Angeles), among others. Additionally, he co-directs @lararaperu, a Peruvian collective, music platform, and label, producing events in cultural spaces throughout the city of Lima

DNGDNGDNG needs no introduction. The Peruvian duo (Felipe Salmón and Rafael Pereira) have been turning dance ﬂoors upside down since 2010. They released "La alianza profana" incorporating dance styles from all over Latam, the Caribbean and Africa, including zouk, dancehall, kuduro and tarraxo. In "Serpiente dorada", "Siete raíces", "Son de los diablos" and "Zenit & Nadir" they explore Afro-Peruvian rhythms. In "Fiebre", they make use of polyrhythm and minimalism.

A flavour of Afro-Peruvian music - fueled by the sound of quijada (a dried donkey's jawbone) and cajón-driven rhythms - runs strongly through the upcoming debut album by Vitu Valera. Entitled 'MIGRX', the LP explores the topic of a migrant's struggle and does so by featuring as many as eight guest appearances from artists who are all migrants themselves, including legendary Peruvian musician Miki González (aka Mikongo) as well as Lukrø, Carla Valenti and Paulopulus. A prime example of such a collaborative approach comes in a form of the dancehall-infused 'MIAO' track. A joint effort created by four artists with roots in different continents - Vitu Valera, Opoku, Sean Lewis and HNKT - the song blends together not only the powerful rattle of the aforementioned quijada but also clarinet improvisations and elements of incoherent Japanese speech.

La Luna (The Moon), symbolizes the essence of femininity, reigns over the realms of water, emotions, subtlety, and fertility. In contrast, Saturn, guides us towards the realms of masculinity, framing itself as discipline, the refinement of skill, physique, and the establishment of internal ideologies and behaviors.

The EP's sonic landscape is characterized by the extensive use of Afro-Ecuadorian rhythms, accompanied by hypnotic voices and the deep presence of a sub-bass. An irresistible call to dance, which defines the distinctive sound of Post-Colonial Bass- a proud entry in the tapestry that connects Southamerica in the information network of KIPUS.
