Oldschool hiphop version of "Input Source Select" by Dutch rock group "De Staat" formed around frontman Torre Florim. The song is heavily winking to the musical style of the Beastie Boys. It appears on the album "Vinticious Versions" released in 2014.

I started this about 6 years ago and then got stuck but was spurred into action when I saw that Jeremy Sole had already had a crack at it. I kind of went back to what I'd done on this and thought it was worth having a go at finishing it. I already know there are purists out there that will hate it but where would we be if we didn't experiment a little from time to time? I'm a massive Tom Waits fan and have tried squeezing the original into DJ sets but it just didn't quite work somehow. (I'm still kind of fearful the man himself is going appear at the bottom of my bed one night dressed as circus ringmaster and carrying a grim reaper's sickle to dispatch me to the underworld for my insolence.)

Riddim Fruit Records are proud to give you the heads up on the new EP by The Allergies. It's four tracks of back-to-back beats from DJs Moneyshot and Rackabeat. 

The pair have put in overtime on the samplers to serve up a wicked mix of Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk and classic Breaks.
