Following the first two successful volumes, Valique is finally back with the third volume of Adventures in Acid Boogie! As expected this release is full of various styles, from deep house to boogie and nu disco vibes, all under the unique style of our beloved Valique. 

First remix is Valique's take on one of Bulgaria's funkiest bands, Dj Macron & the Palos Santos. Dime Amor is transformed to a deep acid electro boogie track, genius arrangement and flare. 

Following up is a deep house take on another favourite from Bulgaria, Koka Mass Jazz and their Play The Game that features US based Tiffany Blu on the vocals. Next up is his remix transformation on Afrodisia track from Funky Destination. This time with a deep boogie and Balearic vibe. 

Fourth and fifth tracks of the release is another remix Valique made for Dj Marcon & The Palos Santos. Here he remixes their latest track A Journey South, presented in two versions, the first is an organic interlude jam working like an intro while the second version is reaching deeper into electro and tech orientated with super dirty bass and groovy guitars cooked with a touch of psychedelia. 

Next remix on the track list is for UK's Smoove & Turrell feat. Izo FitzRoy and his refreshed take on You're Gone. The songs is transformed into a boogie acid, disco house groove kicking up the bpm! Last but not least is Valique's balearic remix on Timewarp inc's Discogirls. With simple words this release is a full filled with strong beats and grooves made with a dance floor concept!

The latest release from "Matasuna Records" is the result of a transatlantic connection between the USA and Germany, whose common denominator is the love for Brazilian music. The journey started 17 years ago when the German musical duo "Dubben" got in touch with the late American musician "Victor Meshkovsky". Almost two decades later, the Dubben interpretations of two songs that he once released with his band "Made in Brasil" on his own "Nucleus" label are now available! The second Dubben 7-inch on Matasuna features their great versions of the songs "Grilos Cantam Para Anamaria" and "One Two-Two" with a captivating vocal contribution by singer "María del Rossario". The 7-inch includes an inlay with detailed liner notes by Dubben about the background of this release.

When Victor heard about Dubben's intention to reinterpret his version of the "Marcos Valle" classic Grilos Cantam Para Anamaria, he immediately loved the idea. This version is raw and funky, according to the original plan, with "Christina Joy's" original vocals isolated from the 1975 album. Bassist "MC Scholze" lifts the down-to-earth chord changes up into souljazz territories, while the typical ingredients of the Dubben sound – brass and percussion feeding tape delays and spring reverb chambers – happily groove along.

Originally a psyched-out proggy-ish Brasil track, Dubben takes Victor's composition "One Two-Two", puts it in a box and sends it to Colombia. Of course, the parcel gets stuck on its way, much to the delight of the audience. A slow Cumbia burner with 100% organic ingredients: straight bass drum, fender bass, springy guitars, a detuned Italian organ and tons of improvised percussion, performed and recorded by the band themselves. Finally, "María del Rossario's" vocal contribution, in both English and Spanish, is more than just the icing on the cake - it's the Latin soul of the track. ¡Un dos-dos!

"Victor Meshkovsky" (*1938 Shanghai; ✝2017 San Francisco) was an entrepreneur, painter, dancer, producer/founder of "Nucleus Records", and gifted drummer/percussionist who dedicated his life to the arts. While his role as drummer/percussionist for his friend, organ genius "Walter Wanderley", might be not that well known, his self-produced and self-released albums with his band "Made In Brasil" (not to be confused with the other "Made In Brasil") have become undisputed classics among music lovers, collectors and DJs. Thanks for the music, Victor!

Welcome to the Good Love symphony of Cosmic Yum! This is a delicious collaboration of musicians and producers, spanning time, space and sound, for the enjoyment of all beings! 

This original cosmic journey begins with a big bang of ideas that travelled through many dimensions with genuine intentions of love and goodness before discovering the vocal bliss of Nada- Leigh Nasser. The original was launched featuring the groove frequencies of Captain Vibe on bass and guitar and complimented by Bongo Loco and Timewarp inc on keys. 

Travelling to a nearby star, the original was embellished and remixed by Omegaman, transforming the track into a multiverse of doof dub reggae. Folding the fabric of sound, Tom Drummond masterfully recomposes the track with a lush tropical pan drum funk remix. The track then traverses to the planet of Jayl Funk, who lays down his quantum funky breakbeat remix to get fingers snapping and toes tapping. Meanwhile, back on Earth, Mind Electric's club disco remix is waiting to launch...

Label boss for Skanky Panky Records, William Breakspear, whose known for his K-Lab remixes and collaborations with Ashley Slater, shows us his interpretation of "This is How We Rollin''.  And Funk Ferret, from world of Ghetto Funk, took "Big Up Booty" and transformed it from a deep bass rocker to a funky breaks monster.
