Silk E , is an Canadian rapper & record producer . Silk E was born in Montreal , moved to Ottawa then got back to Montreal at 11 years old , living with his cousins where he deeply became in music , listening to artists like Three-Six-Mafia , Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony , Twista , Notorious , Snoop Dogg ,Tupac & UGK . Silk E parents were separated as he was young and grew up with his mother & his sister . Silk E grew up listening to good music his mother used to listen , developed a good ear for music & started producing beats using Fruity Loops . Also , hearing all types of music made him develop a versatile style thru his creations .At 15 years old Silk E got into a group with two good friends , the group was named Young Illaz ( with two other members : Prolyks & Snypa ) . In 2005 the group relased ‘’Hustle Or Starve Mixtape’’ on Myspace Young Illaz page, digital copies & other known websites . The group also made alot of shows together . Two year later the group ended up by being sepereated & each member got on they own projects , ever since Silk E been working harder on his own and show showed his versatility on his ‘’ Consequences Of A Presence Mixtape ‘’ wich is available for free download on datpiff.com & other websites using search engine . Silk E also posted his songs on the website Myspace , following positive reviews on the site, he then established his own web page on YouTube & ever since kept on releasing videos to keep the fans updated . After two full years of self-promotion , next mixtape preparation & show performances , Silk E got better & better staying constant thru promotion on any possible website . Silk E dedicated year 2010 for recording tracks & performing shows in Canada . A year after Silk E made apparition on local well known artist & producer Le Chum ‘’Le Monde Est Stone Vol.2 Mixtape’’ , on Oklahoma’s artist currently buzzing worldwide TKO CAPONE ‘’Switch Gears Gang Mixtape vol.1’’. Silk E also appeared on Coast 2 Coast Mixtape ‘’The Showcase Vol. 135’’ By DJ RPM ! Silk E is currently working on ‘’Consequences Of A Presence Mixtape Vol.2 ‘’ , on ‘’ Heat Out The Kitchen Mixtape ‘’ , on ‘’Born For This’’ last mixtape before the album & finally , the album entitled ‘’ S.T.A.R ‘’ ( Super Talented Artistic Rapper ) with distribution deal by Attack Records / Interscope Digital signed in early year 2012 . During the same year Silk E had to face the lost of his mother wich was really hard while things was going good musically , he got back on his feet thrue motivation , hard work & a hunger for success ! ''Heat Out the Kitchen ‘’ released February 2013 with collaboration from local & worldwide artists . Silk E will also be appearing on albums by local artists & will soon release singles from his album on Itunes & other stores . Plenty to come from this promising artist ! This is history in the making . Alot of experience has been gained regarding this industry & he’s still constantly improving . He was getting ready ( warm-up over ) , now he is !
