2013 has been a year of ups and downs, but all in all a good year. Here is a little thank you mix to everyone that has helped and supported me throughout this year.

Here at E.A.R we are massive fans of a certain producer Simoncino, he has been doing some amazing remixes so we had to get him on board. 
He has produced 2 amazing (and very different) remixes for us. 
The Classic Remix keeps the Sunshine in the air and the dancing on the floor with a funk filled sound.

BEAR004 Joshua IZ presents Dubwise - Magnetron - SIMONCINO Protho Remix

This is E.A.R's most star studded release, as J.Cub's new project "The 1/3 Quartet" is his new band. Featuring 2 of the best musicians that are based in the UK.
Tim Hutton on horns. Tim is a very established song writer, musician and has worked with Ian Brown, Groove Armada, The Prodigy and even Afrika Bambaataa.
JD73 on Keys. JD73 aka Dan Goldman is one of the best keyboard players around, he is even endorsed by Moog, and with that in mind you don't need to know much more!
These two genius musicians have been bought together to create a full sounding piece of Jazz Funk fusion written and produced by J.Cub that works well on the dance floor..
On remix duty we have one of Deep House's most sought after producers Nicholas, who brings a great take on the original that gives the whole EP a sound of class and beauty.

Needless to say that E.A.R is very happy to have signed an E.P with Luke Solomon.
Luke's "Say Something" was recorded using live musicians, vocals, and drums, and this is something that E.A.R love doing - bringing the talent of live music into a club environment and Luke has done this perfectly.
The original boasts a feel-good vocal with breathtaking production, whilst the "Dub Something" brings it into the clubs for the deep house crowd. Now dim the lights and focus on the heavier darker side of Luke's mind as he brings the "Do Something" mix in to a peak time track.

Here at E.A.R we are VERY proud to have made it to our 10th release! 
To celebrate this milestone, we have released a remix package of the last successful and well received "Say Something" by Mr Luke Solomon. 
We have brought on board two very established artists to give their take on the musical release. 
On one side Ashley Beedle, known for his musical talent expanding across many genre, he brings the beats out and produces a mix for the dance floor and one for the heads. 
On the other Negghead of Wax On fame brings his trade mark deep house sound, adding percussion from Shovell to compliment this excellent package. 
We hope you enjoy this package and look forward to the next 10 releases.

BEAR001 Luke Solomon "Say Something" Ashley Beedle Remix

Eclectic Avenue Records 11th release!

Eclectic Avenue welcomes inimitable Lil' Mark, one of the true stalwarts of the UK house scene & regular contributor to some of the finest imprints Worldwide. Here Mark drops two bombs of different styles, showcasing his unique knack of genre-straddling.
 
Kicking off with "Pulling Strings" more familiar Lil' Mark territory, with his trademark tight-as-hell percussion & firing bass sat below a freaked-out twisting riff, like a chainsaw vibe (if you can imagine such a thing....) making its way to split your head in two. Seriously, this bad-boy takes no prisoners....other than the ones on the dancefloor....
 
The second original "Memoirs" we're treated to a beautifully sumptous lo-slung roller, utilising a vox refrain over the top of a glorious rolling bass groove; like being comforted by a welcoming acid-bass-hug, this is truly something special.
 
Nestled inbetween Mark's original cuts is E.A.R. main-man J.Cub, whose interpretation of "Memoirs" is something special. Taking the vox refrain & weaving it throughout the track like an instrument, J.Cub nudges the tempo up slightly & adds a solid percussive backdrop & a reworked bass groove, creating a cut which is deep enough to warm the crowd but packs a solid punch at the same time.
