' Zozo is a music curator, collector and radio host from Istanbul, known for experimenting at the fringes of dance music. One way or another, she has grown to be one of the most outstanding selector DJs in her country. Following the motto ‘life is hard but music is good’ since an early age, she has a seasoned character and deep understanding of the dynamics of the dancefloor, with which she communicates with empathy. That has kept her busy on the weekends: she has brought her versatile taste to iconic dance floors as Panorama Bar, Contact Tokyo, Primavera Festival, De School, Ankali Prague, Robert Johnson or Salon des Amateurs. Sanky has spent a lot of his life in dusty bins full of records looking for sounds that were less than successful at the time. Coming from the north of England, he grew up on rare soul and jazz and found a deep connection to the most special of formats, the 7”, which is most of what he collects nowadays. "I'm a George" he says, "if that makes sense for anyone... good music growing up all around..." 

As a long-term Mancuso's Loft Party fanatic, he has been influenced to let records play longer and drift around to hopefully create a feeling and not just a ‘set’. "The mix is for us to escape together to a remote villa on a warm night with good friends and listen to the whispers of the musical past. And of course all ID’s welcome as per usual, music is for sharing." 

"It was my 50th this year and there are a few records on there that remind me of good times spent through the year, mainly the 2 weeks in Ibiza that a few of these tunes soundtracked... and this also covers the widest time span of any mix I've done as it goes back to Holst and the 19th Century... been hunting the 1st tune for years, so it's a coming together of 50 years of listening."

While the first hour is more a dive into fresh and cold water, uprising talent @Jeepsooni from Seoul / South Korea provides the warm sunbath to sooth your senses with AOR und uplifting boogie in the second hour.

'tis not everyone's favorite season of the year, but definitely the last mix of the decade. What better way to end it than let the high priest of Synth-Pop (Episcopal Minister John Zahl) read us the mass. John has prepared almost 5 hours of musical cleansing (recorded live et at Public Records on Oct 26, '19), which hopefully should be enough to wash you free from your sins of the last 10 years. Amen

“Four Fundamental States of Matter” is a debut EP for the Lithuanian producer Purple. While each piece is a different “state of matter”, Purple lets the listener to decide which one is which, individually. 

Gentle but uncertain currents of water, warm but not constant gusts of wind, solid and clearly visible objects, exotic but untouchable plasmic phenomenons happens around us everyday. But life itself is no different than those states surrounding us. It can feel liquified - unpredictable and shapeless; flowing but having no particular destination. Solid and tangible, giving us first hand experiences. Life can feel like it's disappearing and evaporating, no longer being visible. But sometimes it expands and opens up to us under unusual conditions. Life opens to us if we open ourselves to it.
