Kicking off our brand new podcast series, we welcome London based bass music sensation An Avrin. 

An Avrin has swiftly solidified himself as one of the underground scene’s favourite producers. Recent releases on Scuffed Recordings, Slippery Sounds and Erbium Records have seen the up-and-comer flaunt his truly exceptional, dance-floor-ready fusion of breaks and leftfield bass to a growing audience. His skills as a DJ are equally impressive, gliding between heavy and beautiful tracks with ease, full to the brim with a seemingly infinite amount of energy.

This was another one of those rare moments when I listen to a straight up demo cold and just instantly know that it’s completely and utterly right for the label. Qant ( @qqantt ) served me up some eyes down, impeccably produced bass heavy slices of pie and I was gobbling them down before you could say extra mozzarella.

Big beats, big bass and enough bleep bloops to set up a satellite business.

Inspired by the Brazilian and UK electronic music scene, her sessions feature fast beats, sizzling vocals, slick percussions and chubby drums.

In the last year she has played in different venues and promoters such as Boiler Room, El Row, Razzmatazz, DabaDaba, Siroco or Serendipia and collaborated with labels and collectives like Noise Pollution, Vimana, Suave Club o Dembooty.
