Lately he’s been working with the bochka style, which you’ve heard at our parties before. CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

KALASHNIKÓV: I'm actually inspired and motivated by what the EKIP Family is doing. I follow Industrial but mainly BOCHKA style.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

KALASHNIKÓV: Of course. I wanted this to be totally a BOCHKA Podcast and I think I succeeded. It wasn't easy because it was my first BOCHKA Podcast and it felt like a challenge. But most of all I want to stay in the BOCHKA style because I can see that I feel that it's my way.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

KALASHNIKÓV: My set style consists of fast atmospheric heavy beats BOCHKA. I think I'm getting more and more skillful now, there are mistakes. But even the most professional people make mistakes, and no podcast is completely flawless.

My music and sets are mostly representing the pain and the suppression of me and my people.Every set I play regardless of the genre,I try to give the audience a story to connect with.
