Here's a new one. I was trying to make this one sound like a interstellar voyage that somehow veers into 4D space. Not sure if I entirely nailed that or even what it means really. I purposely kept the vocal samples to a minimum as I wanted it to focus on sterile, machine-like qualities. I am pleased with the bass at the end and how it sounds like earth moving equipment. 85 BPM.

Eesti Hip - Hop Pidu 2024

One day you wake up. You are in the greatest city in the world, The City of Angels, Los Angeles. You look out the window. The view from your bedroom window in Pacoima is spectacular. You can see the northern edge of the San Gabriel mountain range. They look down on San Fernando valley like a fearless Titan, semi-jagged and snowcapped. They keep watch over the smoldering valley, with it's crowded humans and their relentless noise and chaos, with steadfast indifference. You think about the range of mountains. Further south, in Pasadena, the San Gabriels are weathered to rounded peaks by millenniums of salt water erosion. What they lack in high jagged peaks they more than make for in shear size and proximity. Like Jupiter sagging on the horizon, they are a claustrophobic waning boulder in the sky. They watch over the southern basin of LA like a Viking god, prepared to strike...to roll...but they contain ultimate patience. From time to time their patience grows weary, and deep beneath the surface, enormous plates...tectonic plates, that of which the land on earth is shaped, shift restlessly among themselves. 
You think about a little town, a couple hundred miles northeast from your location, it's called Lone Pine. Lone Pine sits on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, elevation about 5K ft. The Sierra Nevadas push skyward, as if reaching for the heavens. They proudly boast the highest peaks in the continental U.S. They fear nothing. When the tectonic plates of the more western mountains stir, The High Sierras push back violently, like a school yard bully. 
Your glad the mountains are not angry today. Even though your view is incredible, your apartment building in Pacoima is close enough, if not sitting directly on top of, the San Andreas fault line.
You push your head up and look at the sky. A strong El Niño offshore wind pattern has pushed the sludge from the sky further inland, and it beams a brilliant blue. Not a cloud to be seen. The now peaceful sky leaves you awestruck, providing a backdrop to the mountains. Today. The El Nino are powerful and unpredictable. Offshore...meaning the wind direction is onshore...sometimes the vengeful winds carry enough moisture to flood the entire greater Los Angeles basin with a foot of rain. Or more. 

There's a feeling you get when you look to the west. Unfortunately, your window faces east. You leave your apartment, and walk around the concrete and iron walkway that lines the inner edges of the building. Directly opposite your apartment is your Aunts place. The door is open, you go in and say hello. She asks you why you weren't at church. You apologize, and she gives you a glass of home-made ice tea. You tell her you've been looking at the mountains again. She says that God, in all his glory, created all of that beautiful majesty. You agree, but give a barely perceptual nod of your shoulders. You ask her if you could have a look out her bedroom window. She never says no. The two of you then go and look out her window, now you are looking west. In the distance, across the wide valley, is the Santa Monica mountain range. The smallest in stature of the three ranges, it is mighty in its deeds. It holds within the precious mountain passes...narrow winding paths, the gateways to the ocean. But it burns. Wildfires. You must have woke up late. Oh yeah, you remember...it was a long night. The bold brave Sun, a few hours earlier high in the sky, is now preparing to make its final descent over the mountains, then drop like a flaming ball over the mighty Pacific. As it fades from the sky it affords you a breathtaking sunset view. God? Maybe.
