16th mix comes from Czech Republic. @Obraz takes you to an oniric journey into the Fourth World before sinking deep into your subconscious. It's also a very personal confession by its author.  

Recorded about a year ago, OBRAZ wrote he had experienced many strong moments and important changes in 2020 (not because of Covid) that are reflected in the recording and which were literally transcendent for him. 

OBRAZ is a DJ part of the ÉTER crew and works in room acoustics, so he basically lives within sound!  

@eter_brno crew is a platform that seeks to raise awareness of non-mainstream electronic music and supports the local scene by organizing small parties, publish podcasts and spend a lot of time in their Studio 410.

YAYA was a concept label by Joe Mubare and Mark Polscher founded in 1989 and only released three records by Votu, One Tounge and Joe Mubare himself. When I first stumbled across this special music, I instantly felt the desire to create a mix around it. So I started to dig through my collection to search for records with this transcendental yet mystical new-age-vibe, which the YAYA records are spreading. It turned out to get a really ambitious project - a concept mix to worship a concept label.

The first take of this mix was recorded in December 2018 - three months later I'm more than happy to present this mix as a tribute to YAYA. I'm pretty optimistic that I will still like this mix when I'm old and grey.

Eva Geist, artist who dedicated her life to poetry. She is one of the paramount artists of Macadam Mambo. She’s also a resident at Sameheads where, together with Laura ODL (Ondula), she hosts the night called Diapason. They also form the duo As Longitude, which first EP “Blauer Part” was released by Knekelhuis. Together with Donato Dozzy, Eva has just started a monthly radio show on NTS called Electric Eden.

This podcast entitled “Ode to Era” is inspired and dedicated to my friend Jonida Prifti, who’s celebrating birthday today. There's a common thread between all tracks, it is a chanting dedicated to the Great Goddess (Dea Madre). This podcast wouldn't be possible without African, Indian, Arabian and Bali music. This cultures has never stopped to be inspired by the Divine Mother. Only recently white people are learning it by approaching tribal music. Hello to everyone who reads the descriptions! We are finally returning from the New Year holidays with a fresh musical gift. This episode came to us by special flight from winter Vienna and was recorded by the master of the impossible-Herr Armin Schmelz. Of course, we are all experienced listeners here and love obscure music from all over the world, but during the time of listening to this mix, my jaw dropped from surprise several times. Get ready for a journey into the depths of Kunstkabinett: Director's Cut Edition by Armin Schmelz. 165 minutes of pure delight, surprise and pleasure - it's a little longer than Home Alone and a little shorter than Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings, which you probably watched on vacation.
