So, where to begin... 
Electronic music began as a place where LGBTQ+, black, brown, and racialized bodies, curated the movement and the genre. 

Essentially the underground. Voguing, Break and drag were all embodied under the early movement that was House.
What would eventually happen was that a place of empowerment, and freedom of expression would be commodified, sold back to the masses. In many ways pushing the oppressed outside of what was once their own. 

My question to whomever sees this is... How many of those people currently have their voices heard, validated?
How many of them tour? Play shows? 
Aren't exploited? Are paid? 
How diverse is the scene, really?  
Who gets the most air time, opportunity? 
How systemic and institutional do you want me to get? 
Are intersectional ideals applied towards the House and EDM scenes? 
In short, no.
