In Ecstatic Dance NYC’s long-awaited collaboration with The Collective BAE, we experienced a deeply diverse offering of our community’s female talent and an embodied invitation into universal feminine energy.

Creator and curator of BAE, @dreeemy led the space, guiding alongside 6 other powerful women, an intentional & collaborative journey through the Cycles of Creation: birth, life, death, and back again. Her multi-genre sonic offering was an experience in REBIRTH and a dive into the dance of existence itself.

Listen & allow free-form movement through organic rhythms, unexpected yet intuitive tempos, ancestral invocations, ancient sounds, and future beats. Allow each moment the chance to be borne again and again, transformed by the s o u n d.

In Ecstatic Dance NYC’s long-awaited collaboration with The Collective BAE, we experienced a deeply diverse offering of our community’s female talent and an embodied invitation into universal feminine energy.

This mix is a capture of Keena Maya's set, this set follows  a 10 minute live drum circle, that served as a transition from dreeemy to Keena's set. 

Keena Maya is, so that we may be • Keenly attuned to the state-shifting nature of sound, she is a sound conduit, crafting inter-dimensional sonic playgrounds through which we may become embodied revelations of our own primordial soul sounds.

Held in a bass music framework, she weaves deep, global beats, low-end frequencies, & live vocals/instruments. The depths of Keena.Maya’s esoteric soundscapes are incantations, drawing us deep down into our roots, grounding us into our bodies, invoking the incandescent deity within us to rise.
