Thought I would create a dedicated mix series which facilitates more fun on the decks for me compared to my podcast. Where my podcast is about showcasing music, this is more about the creative possibilities of DJ and is much closer to my live sets, with FX, experimental transitions, and the odd cheeky spin back. A tapestry of sound if you will, however I appreciate that saying that makes me sound like a bit of a wanker.

Greetings Hard ravers this episode 25 of the Morph Harder podcast returning after a short hiatus I must say I was a little bit burnt out towards the end of last year and so I took a bit of a break and also it allowed me to provide me with the ability to reflect on the morph harder project.

What came with that reflection? Well I have so many projects on I needed to really reframe my approach to all the things that I put my energy into, for all sorts of different reasons, creative as well as health. What that means for the podcast is that there’s a slightly different format and frequency. I’m looking to release the podcast every two months and also trying to keep the podcast down to about an hour in time. This will free out my studio time and allow me to focus on delivering a quality product. This is the first podcast in that format and I'm super proud of it, definitly one for the freeform heads out there. 

We have a guest mix from Code-E, and we also have all of the usual sections such as Track of the Month, the Flashback Track and of course, the wild and wacky return of the Curveball Track. 

Without further, let’s crack on with some banging music and let's morph harder together by starting 2025 as we mean to go on; excellent music, good vibes, and showcasing the very best that the Underground has to offer.

Ben Manic started his career in music back in 2011 with DJ Hoodzie on the Tryed n Tested label working on tracks such as All Messed Up, Try, After Glow and Connected just to name a few.

A master of the multigenre rave set, has been mixing it up for over 10 years, and currently based in London. Now a regular on eclectic summer festival line ups, he brings a unique perspective to the club DJ set.

Matt Rush
A hardhouse/harddance Dj who has been in the clubbing scene since 1987. Having developed a style of dj'ing through many years of playing over a variety of styles. Matt has Dj'd all over the UK at various events from Frantic - Tasty - Twisted - Heat - Flashbak - Vinyl Warriors to name a few. He has also played in various countries including - Ibiza - Cyprus - France - Tenerife - Spain and Greece. Matt considers himself to be part of the Brixton Underground Scene and has played alot of venues including Ministry of Sound , Fridge (now Electric Brixton), Mass (Brixton), Scala (kings cross), Brixton Academy, Pst (Birmingham) and many more..
