Where dreams started
Witnessing it shattered

Different from the so-called "American Dream" and "Chinese Dream" which are loaded yet energizing, "Shanghai Dream" is way lighter, more alluring and deceiving.

The word "Shanghai" here is not in a literal sense, nor is it the physical location where the "Dream" took place. It is a shape in which one can imagine the "Dream" while still being elusive. It is closely related to substance, but is nothing about materiality; it moves one easily, but is ruthless underneath.

It’s about to end.

"Shanghai Dream" is the second album of Scandal label released in January 2023, with 7 female producers.
