Ed Koban is a Guitarist and Native American Flutist. By blending the sounds of rock, blues, jazz, with the haunting sounds of the Native American Flute he gives life to a fresh and original sound, that sounds new and satisfying. He has performed as guitarist for Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Nokie Edwards from the Ventures, Grammy Winner Tina Marie Johnson from '70s disco sensation Taste of Honey, and Grammy Winning Native American Artist Joanne Shenandoah. He has performed at the 2002 Winter Olympics, The Kennedy Center, The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage festival and has supported acts such as: Three Dog Night, Foghat, Molly Hatchet, Rusted Root and many others. Ed has currently started his own band- The Ed Koban Group- and is preparing to bring his unique brand of music to the world.
